Equipment sustainment (also known as "material logistics") spans a range of skills and experience that include engineering, maintenance, training, operations, supply support and management. At AML Advisory, our qualifications and experience span the entire range of equipment management services. Since establishment in 2003, our consultants have been involved with Integrated Logistics Support Management (ILSM) services from research, evaluation and analysis, monitoring, documentation and plan development and advice/input into management and technical reviews. AML members have demonstrated this experience on a large number of projects and tasks, either assisting government teams or working autonomously.

Our equipment sustainment and technical experience has been gained through a wide range of major and minor Defence and commercial/industry projects. This spans the lifecycle from capability definition through to capability disposal. An important component of AML’s equipment management services is to provide depth to support any unforeseen need to replace resources and an understanding for the downstream influences of preventative maintenance, training and adequate supply support. This provides our clients with confidence that AML, at a corporate level, is well positioned to ensure each organisation’s capital asset fleet and project risks are controlled and lifecycle considerations are understood.
AML deliberately targets consultants at Senior Consultant, Director and Partner Level in line with our business model and talent management approach. Our approach is to focus our efforts at the higher end requirements and to ensure that a Partner consultant is provided as the task lead in support of our engagement managers. Where we identify the need for less experienced consultants, we leverage our business alliances, engage our consultants at lower levels or recruit specifically for identified tasks.
